In this episode of the Podcast of Oa hosts Bill Giancoli and Myron Rumsey talk about DC’s Free Comic Book Day offering and what it might mean for Green Lantern. Issue 8 of both Green Lantern Corps and Green Lantern: New Guardians continue to impress with the first chapter in the “Alpha War” begins and the New Guardians go their separate ways.
Plus we talk about the “Fear Itself” and “…In Love and War” episodes of Green Lantern: The Animated Series and how the show continues to mine the rich history of the Green Lantern universe with the most recent episodes playing up other parts of the emotional spectrum.

Critiquing Comics 022: “The Legend of Spacelord Mo Fo”
Posted By: The Comics Podcast Network

While technically a comic, The Legend of Spacelord Mo Fo attempts to be a bit of a comics/animation hybrid — not a “motion comic”, but something like manually flipping through the frames of a movie. Does the technique succeed? Does the writing back it up? Tim and Mulele ponder.
