With the March 9th release date, Walt Disney Pictures is preparing a final marketing push for John Carter, directed by Andrew Stanton (WALL•E, Finding Nemo). And according to Alberta Film Ratings, the third official trailer has been classified. Which means we can expect it very soon. Check it out: Also, here a couple of more reactions to the film, and one of them is from Jim, better known as our overlord Galactus around here. Others are from SlashFilm's Germain Lussier, Laurent de Alberti of FilmLand Empire and the last one is a reply from Geoff Boucher of Hero Complex: John Carter's adventures have influenced the greatest SF movies ever made, now newbies can discover the great-granddaddy of classic tales.— Jim Littler (@jimlittler) February 22, 2012 John Carter- B-. Spectacle on the grandest scale, amazing moments but we aren't connected to the characters because the story lacks tension— Germain Lussier (@GermainLussier) February 22, 2012 @Nostrom0 @spaceagemonkey

Deadline is reporting that Spartacus' Jai Courtney has landed the role of John McClane's son in A Good Day To Die Hard. The fifth movie in the franchise will be directed by John Moore (Max Payne), and is expected to be released February 14, 2013. Jai landing the part is viewed as quite the surprise, as many actors were in contention, but no one had Courtney on their short lists. It is believed the Chris Hemsworth's brother, Liam (The Hunger Games) was the runner-up. Jai Courtney is best known for playing Varro in cable television show, Spartacus: Blood and Sand. He also landed a role in Tom Cruise's new film, One Shot, and will be in Aaron Eckhart's I, Frankenstein, which begins filming in Australia in a few days. A Good Day to Die Hard puts McClane on an international stage, truly a NYC fish out of water in Moscow,

New Poster For Pixar's BRAVE

Posted By: Comic Book Movie

Wed Feb 22 2012 13:55:00 pm

"Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald) is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson). Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (Robbie Coltrane). Merida’s actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Witch (Julie Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it’s too late." I can't imagine this one being bad, because Pixar don't make bad movies! (what's Cars 2?). Brave hits theaters June 22nd, 2012 and stars Kelly Macdonald, Billy Connolly, Emma Thompson, Julie Walters, Kevin McKidd, Craig Ferguson, Robbie Coltrane. The film is

Says Deadline in an exclusive report, "Wright, best known for directing Shaun of the Dead and Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, comes aboard before the studio has set a writer, and he will oversee and shape the project with Depp from the ground floor. As Deadline revealed, the film took root at the studio last summer, borne out of Depp and Dembrowski’s fond memories of the original 70s movie and series that starred Darren McGavin. He covered crime for a tabloid and his cases always led to supernatural perpetrators that included zombies, vampires, werewolves and aliens. Of course, neither his editor nor anyone else would believe him or allow him to run what seemed like outrageous stories. But Kolchak would put himself in grave danger each episode. David Kennedy will be exec producer of the film." McGain's Kolchak appeared in the 1972 TV movie The Night Stalker, followed by 1973's The Night
